Matérialiser le plus tard possible, le plus près du consommateur... par VW

VW pousse le concept de plateforme véhicule avec MQB :

• Standardiser tout ce qui ne se voit pas.
• Homogénéiser tous les composants, toutes les géométries, dès lors que cela n'intéresse pas le client.
• Tendre vers des motorisations "plug &play" : même position, mêmes branchements mécaniques-électriques-liquides.
• Rendre possible une infinité de combinaison, de modèle client, pour atteindre toutes les niches, tout en réduisant au minimum le nombre de configurations standards.
• Adapter localement, au plus près du consommateur, les produits aux marchés.
• Etre capable de figer le design non standard le plus tard possible.
• Au final, créer la valeur sur le non standard, en réduisant au minimum son impact industriel.
